Privacy policy
Last updated 27 October 2026
This policy explains what information Teldux ("we", "us") collects when you use our website, the Teldux portal, our apps and our phone services (together, the "Services"), and how we use it. If your company or IT provider set up Teldux for you, they are responsible for how they use the Services, and their own privacy policy also applies.
Information we collect
- Account information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, company details and sign-in credentials, including two-factor authentication settings.
- Call and message records: the numbers involved in calls and texts, times, durations, the number dialed, menu options chosen and call outcomes.
- Communications content you ask us to keep: voicemail, call recordings, transcriptions, faxes and text messages, when those features are turned on for your account.
- Device and technical information: app version, device type, IP address, push notification tokens and diagnostic logs needed to connect calls and fix problems.
- Managed PBX information: if you connect a FreePBX or Asterisk system, its configuration, health, inventory and backups.
- Website: standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser). This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To provide the Services: connecting and routing calls, delivering voicemail and messages, transcription, caller ID and reporting.
- To keep the Services secure and reliable, including preventing fraud and toll fraud.
- To support you, bill for the Services and tell you about changes to them.
- To meet legal obligations, such as emergency calling and lawful requests.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the content of your calls, voicemail or messages for advertising.
Text messaging
Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Phone numbers and consent records collected for text messaging are used only to send the messages you agreed to receive. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the Services: telecommunications carriers that connect calls and messages, caller-name and emergency-calling providers, hosting and email delivery providers, and, where you turn them on, AI speech and integration providers (such as your CRM). These providers may only use the information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of people or the Services. Your IT provider or the administrator of your account can see records for that account.
Security and retention
We use encryption in transit and at rest for voicemail, recordings and backups, require two-factor sign-in and keep audit logs. See our security page. We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed for billing, legal and security purposes; account administrators can set shorter retention for recordings and some records.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. If your account is managed by your employer or IT provider, we may refer your request to them. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Children
The Services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We will post changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell account administrators by email.
