Terms of service
Last updated 27 October 2026
These terms apply when you or your organization use the Teldux website, portal, apps, cloud phone service and on-prem phone system management (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent. A signed order or partner agreement with Teldux takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
1. Your account
Keep your sign-in details and two-factor device secure. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the users you add. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think your account has been misused.
2. Acceptable use
Don't use the Services to break the law, send unsolicited calls or messages, spoof caller ID to mislead, harass anyone, or interfere with the Services or other customers. You are responsible for getting any consent the law requires before recording calls or sending text messages. We may suspend service to stop fraud, abuse or a threat to the network.
3. Emergency calling (911)
Internet-based phone service handles 911 differently from a traditional landline. Each user's registered address is sent to emergency services, so keep it accurate in the portal, and update it if a user moves. 911 calls may not work during a power, internet or service outage, or if a device has moved away from its registered address. Make sure everyone using the Services knows these limitations, and keep another way to call 911 available.
4. Fees and billing
Paid Services are billed monthly in advance at the prices in your order or on our pricing page. Listed prices include applicable taxes and regulatory fees. Usage outside your plan is billed in arrears. You can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. The free on-prem phone system management plan has the limits shown on our website, and we may change or end free plans with 30 days' notice.
5. Phone numbers
You may use the numbers assigned to your account while your account is in good standing. If you leave, we will cooperate with a valid request to port your numbers to another provider. Numbers not ported within 30 days of cancellation may be released.
6. Your data
Your call records, recordings, voicemail, messages and configuration belong to you. We use them only to provide the Services, as described in our privacy policy. You can export your data from the portal and ask us to delete it when you leave.
7. On-prem agent
When you install the Teldux agent on a system, you confirm you are authorized to manage it. The agent only makes the changes you or your administrators start from the portal. You are responsible for your own PBX's licensing, carrier service and compliance.
8. Service changes and availability
We work to keep the Services available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. Features marked "beta" or "early access" are provided as-is and may change. We may update the Services and these terms; if a change materially reduces what you receive, we will notify account administrators at least 30 days in advance.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Except as stated in these terms, the Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms and don't fix it after notice, or immediately for fraud or abuse.
